Emile Haynie may not be a household name to many but the Buffalo born producer has worked with a whole heap of A-list artists including Eminem, Lana Del Rey, Kanye West & Bruno Mars to name a few and today he comes through with a new offering titled ‘A Kiss Goodbye’. The single finds Haynie lay down a haunting production for Charlotte Gainsbourg & Sampha to bless with equally haunting vocals which results in one of the most authentic songs that you would have heard in a minute.
Singing sensation Sampha puts down the mic and graces the Dj decks at London’s Boiler Room where he puts down a 60 minute set of eclectic beats.

Certain producers and artists bring out the best in each other whether it be Snoop & Dre or JT & Timbaland and for me you can add SBTRKT & Sampha to that list who always manage to create some musical magic and their latest creation ‘Temporary View’ continues that trend. The single is a reworking of SBTRKT’s instrumental ‘Resolute’ which finds Sampha blessing the melodic beat with ease.
For his latest remix, Cali’s Brendan Johnson takes on the Jessie Ware & Sampha collaboration track ‘Valentine’ which see’s the producer slow down the tempo and add some rolling hi-hats which gives the cut a whole new fresh feeling.
Our regular readers will know we’re huge fans of Sampha so we were pleased to see today that London Dj The Last Skeptik has compiled a 50 minute mix of Sampha treats for our listening pleasures. The project features 16 tracks including the Drake’s ‘The Motion’, SBTRKT’s ‘Hold On’ & more, peep below for the stream.
BBC Radio 1’s Future Festival took place yesterday at Maida Vale and showcased some of our favourite artists including Jhene Aiko, Sampha, MNEK & Sam Smith who all performed live in front off an intimate crowd of 200 people. Peep after the jump for some of the performances!
Sampha decides to get his philanthropy on with his latest ep ‘Sundanza’ and will donate all proceeds to the Youth Cancer Trust. The project itself features a stash of old productions from around 2010 which never saw the light of day due to the master files being accidentally deleted so they exist only as low quality unmastered mp3s, but when it comes to hearing new music from Sampha we will take it anyway it comes!

SBTRKT unveils a cut from 2 years ago featuring Jessie Ware, Sampha & Tic titled ‘r u n a w a y’ which was the last track the London producer played at his recent New Years gig in Mexico.
No one can rival Sampha’s silky smooth vocals and his latest track titled ‘Happens’ illustrates just that as he effortlessly croons over the Emile Haynie produced single which is now available via iTunes.
