Cam’Ron & Jim Jones – “Victory” (Freestyle)

January 18, 2015

The other night Funk Flex got on his Hulk Hogan and went on a rant that Jay Z’s ‘Life + Times’ website tried to bite his app and more recently supposedly tried to get inside info on the Dipset reunion which he found strange considering Jay’s beef with the Harlem rap collective. Well after Flex’s rant, Cam’ron & Jim Jones followed it up with a diss track towards Jigga which saw them jump on Diddy’s classic ‘Victory’.

Funk Flex Vs Dame Dash

June 8, 2014

After Dame Dash went on the attack earlier this week towards former Def Jam president Joie Manda calling him and other music execs culture vultures via his Instagram account, Funk Flex stepped in to defend his close friend Manda and took to the airwaves for his usual Hulk Hogan like rant attacking Dash and accusing him of dealing with the same ‘culture vultures’ that he denounced.

Following Flex’s 23 minute rant Dame passed through the Combat Jack show podcast and responded to Flex’s comments as well as addressing the music industry, the importance of staying independent & more. Love him or hate him Dame definitely raised some good points and you can check out both pieces of audio below.

Kendrick Lamar Calls Out Meek Mill During His Show In Brooklyn

September 11, 2013

It took Meek Mill a while to respond to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Control’ verse so I wonder how long it will take for him to respond to K Dot’s latest jab which took place during his show in Williamsburg, Brooklyn as the TDE frontman spat “I have no time for irrelevant n***as or new n***as, There’s one n***a in particular that needs to realize that there’s ‘levels’ to this s**t.”

Meek Mill ‘Kendrick You Next’

September 5, 2013

Looks like the long running beef between Meek Mill & Cassidy isn’t going to stop anytime soon as Meek takes aim at Cass over a barrage of instrumentals including 50 Cent‘s “Wanksta” and names the track ‘Kendrick You Next’. Apparently the Philly MC will respond to K Dot’s ‘Control’ verse on his forthcoming mixtape ‘Dreamchasers 3’ lets hope it will be better then this Cassidy diss #Garbage.

Papoose – Control (Kendrick Lamar Response)

August 16, 2013

It was only a few years ago that Papoose proclaimed that he was the king of NY so it was only a matter of time before he responded to K Dot’s ‘Control’ verse. Pap seems to of taken it personally and goes in at the TDE spitter despite Kendrick letting him share the stage at Summer Jam during his performance just 3 months ago it looks like all love has been lost. If you have 3 minutes to waste then you can check out the tirade below…..

Big Sean ft Kendrick Lamar / Jay Electronica – Control (HOF)

August 13, 2013

Big Sean gave Funk Flex a gem last night when he let him premiere his new track ‘Control (HOF)’ featuring Kendrick Lamar & Jay Electronica.

It’s safe to say K Dot steals the show as he drops one of the best verses in recent memory and proclaims himself as the king of New York and controversially name checks various rappers to chase his crown. Considering most of the MCs he name checks are rappers that he respects it’s hard to call it a diss track more like friendly fire to shake up the game and in an era where every rapper is on each others dick it’s a refreshing change.

Unfortunately due to sample clearance the No I.D produced track will not feature on Sean’s forthcoming album ‘Hall Of Fame’ which I’m sure Jay Electronica is pleased about as he clearly has the weakest verse which apparently was recorded a few months ago. When will rappers learn that in order to not get bodied on a posse cut be sure to all be in the studio at the same time lol. Peep below for the track as well as Twitter reactions after the jump which has been on a melt down ever since the cut was unleashed….
