Many wondered how Drake would reply to the Meek Mill diss and it was obvious he would use his Beats 1 show as the perfect platform and thats exactly what he did as went in over a sparse production titled ‘Charged Up’.
Apparently Meek is retaliating with his very own track this coming Monday so lets wait and see how this pointless and unentertaining beef boils over. I still find it funny how people are shocked when it comes to ghost writing within hip hop, I imagine everyone from Jay to Em has had help with their pen from time to time it’s impossible to be creatively consistent for a long period of time on your own merit. Beats 1 is now in full swing and last night Drake took over the airwaves along with OVO’s co-founder Oliver El-Khatib and talented producer Eric Dingus. The two hour show saw the trio put down some of their favourite current tracks as well as some new Drake featured tracks including Wizkid’s “Ojuelegba (Remix)” which also features Skepta, Roy Wood$ ‘Little Bit Of Everything’ & Ramriddlz “Sweeterman (Remix)”.
